Who We Are
In September 2007, Relevention was established to fill a need for creative results-based marketing in the Fraser Valley. We have grown by over 80% in a short time through referrals from satisfied clients and some great supply chain partners.
Our philosophy hinges on three elements and one foundation:
Relationships – our clients, suppliers, and fellow employees matter. A lot. We go out of our way to ensure we listen well, inspire people to bigger dreams, and always serve by placing others before ourselves.
Execution – We are driven to meet deadlines and budgets. We push our clients and suppliers hard in these areas because they directly affect results. We have created a reputation as a company that gets things done.
Wow – Everything we produce must inspire, be different, and creative. If it doesn’t “WOW” us, you’ll never see it. It’s a high standard that pushes us to work harder and be more creative but its absolutely vital to your success.
Christian Foundation – Relevention was established on the foundation of Christian faith and values. It’s woven into the fabric of our character and helps provide a vision for life and business that we hope is a positive difference.

Braden Douglas
Principal
His value of being curious about life and always learning stemmed from his father and to this date is constantly reading and attending seminars to better himself professionally and spiritually. Braden's marketing experience comes from seasons at Procter & Gamble and Frito Lay.
His passion for non-profits came from his role as Marketing Director at Power to Change. Braden is a board member and volunteer in his church. He's also a founding member of the Fusion Leadership Group and has travelled to Mexico with LeaderImpact Group.

Lee Tufford
Marketing Manager
Inspired by the many lessons learned along the way, "The Professor's" hope is to be a life giver to all that he meets on the journey. Before Relevention, he worked in customer service, as a corporate team facilitator and as a Direct Marketing Manager for a non-profit organization.

James' inspiration comes from those exceptional moments in life, the ones that are so good they make your teeth hurt and you say, “Ah, this is it.” James comes with more than a decade of experience in Entertainment Marketing from the record industry and gets equal amount of enjoyment from the creativity of the process as he does from the task of driving projects forward. An avid supporter of several Christian mission organizations he truly believes one of the greatest sources of enjoyment in life is taking an open handed approach with his time, money and resources.

Jamie Born
Assistant Marketing Manager
Shaped by life's experiences, friends and family, Jamie has also always been inspired by her relationship with Jesus Christ to define who she is and what she stands for. Having previously been the TWU Women's Basketball Assistant Coach, she brings her Masters in Business Administration, her height and team spirit to Relevention. She has supported many community outreach initiatives and currently helps coach basketball to a variety of ages as well as supports her friend in Athletes in Action .

Nova Hopkins
Graphic Designer
Nova is excited by those that jump into life and take a chance to do what they love, kind of like Batman. Her days before Relevention were filled with studying visual arts at UFV, then a 3-yr Graphic Design and Illustration program at Capilano University and a stint at a design firm in Vancouver called Karo Group. As a sponsor of the Biscuit Fund through the SPCA, Nova's drive to be creative and inspire has landed her here.

Jennifer Elliott
Graphic Designer
Influenced by anyone on any given day, who inspires her to challenge her current thoughts and ideas about life. "Jennwich" supports the local coffee shop and helps out at Ruth and Naomi's Shelter. Along with investing 3 long expensive years in college for Design and Illustration, she brings her desire to do what she loves and the enthusiasm that comes with that to the Relevention team.

Natasha Lambert
Administrative Assistant
As a part-time working mom, she is thankful for her family who are the supporters of her enjoying both of the worlds she loves. As a cheerleader for the Relevention team, she previously worked in a non-profit marketing department. "Nastasia" and her family support a little girl named Prionti from Bangladesh.

Jen Douglas
Finance
As a former teacher in Toronto and Abbotsford, Jen brings a love for numbers and organization to Relevention as well as an insatiable desire for Starbucks! Her mom has been a true source of wisdom in her life especially now that she’s a mom of two young energetic kids. Jen and Braden are very active in their church and Jen is an amazing hostess for every kind of event at the home.
